i believe recently they mentioned they exit from value iem market because too much competition.
i think they play both end as long as not much competition going around.

their most recent ft7 really scream high end.

for awhile they really did exit the lower price bracket for all their products but now they are kinda back, but they should focus on music players dongles and amps not iem..from $20 to thousands of dollars the competition too stiff

bought their jm21 music player 2 months ago for RM600..affordable and ok-ish to use..these kinda product they should do more

fiio makes electronics, nor really comparable anyway.
hifiman and most of the brands bomb price only, and if one believes in objective performance, its pretty disappointing for 30k. there are headphones that sound just as nice for 7k and 15k...below 7k...i so far still can tell difference albeit diminishing returns.

iem truthear nova enough already. they are just low cost things in expensive shells. and get some moisture in like me straight mati

there are fans of fiio iem, recently their budget headphone get good review but audio very subjective

same in iem realm, there are RM20K 30K sets from malaysia company, but such price dont make sense to majority people..RM2k to Rm3k set of iem get some of the best sound

should give them an audition. personally i take fiio ft3 sound any day vs hd660s. miles ahead better than hd560 eventhough both are harman tuning. never heard of their planar offerinv, but people comparing ft1pro with sundara mean it doesnt sucks for its price.
