as someone who works in China/HK financial market for many many years now, their efficiency is really good, but if you say Malaysian unable to compete, then you are overly generalize
they are still just normal human being who put more effort, which is something everyone can do. Just a matter of whether you want to put in extra work or not.

well, it depends on our own people. Whether we want to become competitive, never in my mind, that our local malaysian cant compete against China company. actually we can.

All this hoo haa, like malaysian cant compete against this and that , is quite demoralizing to our own local SME.

We have our own strength and certain industry like palm oil, rubber, o&g.

Heck, Grab was born in local malaysia. Grab is literally one of the more successful company in the whole south east asia.

even in my industry, also facing competition from locals and china, but still my company is still making amazing progress and outcompeting the so called china company.

bear in mind that the company that i work at is local sme, with 80% local malay workforce.

i would never lookdown on malaysian. whether if he is malay , chinese, indian or other race. The key is to choose the right person for the job, there will be screening purpose, you have to layoff and employ others for the job, if that person is not suitable for the job.
