Agree with Datuk view, it is an opportunity for us to expand to USA market

one thing i dont agree is our trade deficit with china, i see that our trade deficit with china is in order for us to increase our trade surplus with USA. Like a trader, buy and sell. We buy from China sell to US. We definitely losing money when we are buying, but we are making money when we are selling, we just need to make sure we are selling way higher than what we are buying

We lacking behind in technology, it's time for us to buy technology from china, robotic, AI, CNC, automation, drone etc. Consider that as an investment to reduce our cost and increase our efficiency to compete with surrounding competitors like Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The faster we able to catch up to China in terms of technology, the better it is for us. China is a partners not enemies, the customer is USA, lets make money together with China, but end of the day we want china to transfer technology to us is the best deal we able to profit from the partnership.

The knowledge and the technology will be here to stay with us forever even if one day we no longer partner

Means US give us revenue
without them Msia and CHN also no revenue
Msia CHN also no point to do business

CHN won't buy much from us
whatever we hv they have more & cheaper
they just want sell and dumping to us

Of course.. local businesses need to be more competent and efficient
tht's another topic

No china is important for us.

1. We cannot replace china production capability, what i meant is we want to wrestle away as much as possible the 15% freed up market share left by china. And our production capability will limit new market share we able to grab.
So buy from china to sell to usa

2. We need china as partners to catch up in terms of technology. We are now falling behind china. Japan have nothing more to teach us, usa will not teach us.
We need all the advance production machine and technology that china poses. China might not mind sharing with us technology they stolen.

3. They sell and flood local market with end cheap consumer might not be all bad because the access we can resell it or it will attract new customers. We always adhere to the principles of demand and price

Low cost increase demand, low demand increase cost
