TS sorry to break ur heart.

1) the list is confirmed incorrect coz i know school that got 1.49 but not in the list
2) vernacular secondary mean chinese independent school which focus uec rather spm. It going to be 1 year shorter compared to SPM + STPM and widely recognized to enrol top university
3) most top students in SJKC been move on to SG, international school or CIS under scholarship program. I hardly heard any top student that choose government boarding school. Exposure and depth of enlightenment might drived the choice

When Penang list come up you will be more heart broken, this is last year

I’m not sure which Bukit you’re coming from, but in Penang, many Chinese secondary schools still retain their traditional Chinese names, yet they don’t appear on that list either.

Fadlina previously stated that KPM has instructed last year not to publish such a list, as it would cause unnecessary stress nationwide—particularly for parents choosing schools for their children.

The perception held by some that vernacular schools represent the best education system in Malaysia is quite unsettling. These schools often overwhelm students with excessive homework and the need for tuition classes.

I believe i wrote these before and you replied but still you ignore the facts that:-

1. Mandarin holds little importance in most workplaces in Malaysia. Visit your Doccon today and ask how many procedures, work instructions, or process cards are written in Chinese. You’d likely find more documents in BM. Walk through a production line, and you’ll notice that chemical labels and signages are also predominantly in BM.

2. In professional settings, meetings, presentations, trainings, or briefings and observe how often these are conducted in Chinese. Pull out training records, and you’ll see many of them are delivered in BM.

3. Many students from vernacular schools are fluent primarily in their mother tongue, but often lack proficiency in English and Malay. This stems from the fact that the *bahasa penghantar* in these schools is usually Chinese—unlike Singaporean schools, where the medium of instruction is English.

4. Can you name a non-Chinese individual in your organization who speaks Mandarin and has climbed to the top of the corporate ladder? If not, observe non-Chinese lower-level staff who you like to chit-chat mandarin and find out how long they’ve remained in the same position with the same salary.

Seriously u hv confused with the actual situation dude. Did u got info from right source? Likely u got 2nd hand rumour

1) SMJK is not vernacular school. It is national school using BM in class. It is part of history lesson u supposed learnt in SMK right?
2) Workplace - private use English lol. MNC need to engage overseas customer. If customer or supplier is from China / TW, mandarin communication is necessary. Training is English unless for low level employee like factory operator or cleaner. based on ur arguments, u worked in organization serving government or GLC right? Coz ur environment quite limited to BM
3) Post SKJC pathway - no issue with both English & BM. Real story, my kids classmate got plenty scholarships. They continue performed in secondary and being top 3 of their cohorts. Even my daughter got multiple scholarship both SG and international school.

So which gua u r from?

Actualy these  Figure is never about the race.

Let’s say u establish a school. And the school has one student. Thst student score straight A+
The gps will be 0. And that will rank number 1 in the list.

And for all u know, the student might be taking min subjects (core subjects)

This is how to play with statistics.

Teacher to student ratio do made a difference
As well as intake requirements. These school need pre intake exam so excluded weak students from its pool

Normal SMK intake based on students address

Thus, TS is confused as usual and making biased conclusion

Ya, my son's school is having GPS of 1.64, but not in the list as well.
The list is likely only for boarding schools, look at all the MRSMs.

I think the list is unofficial list tabulating mainly SBP and MRSM. Unlikely official list from MOE who hv guideline not to compare this year
