my personal preferences ( i am from penang, and sometimes when i work late lazy to drive back) - below are my preferences

1 ) penaga hotel - classic hotel - no inhouse parking, public parking .. usually after 9.00 pm many parking will be available ..
this hotel very good for smexy time - the 4 poster bed and the smexy sofa and jaquzzi
morning got inhouse breakfast - not very top end / expensive
prices - Twin with balcony with jaquzzi (i like twin because bed on second floor) - around myr 300
this hotel is a heritage type hotel, old switches electrical wires etc (not many ppl can accept this)

2 ) Cititel express - got inhouse car park .. no brakfast .. right infront of komtar .. cheap but not that budget budget type hotel - around myr 180+ a night
PRO - inhouse car park ... and damn, the hot water shower, very nice .. (can even do steam room in bathroom)
cons - no bfast .. small room (if got 2 ppl, need to siam each other if walk past)
this hotel just sleep and go .. will not do smexy time here ..

3 ) the george hotel - EXPENSIVE / premium .. inhouse carpark, with breakfast and pool ... got inhouse restaurant also
this hotel, if want to bring your secret GF - this hotel a good choice ..
usually i take the Pearl Suite with Balcony .. got 2 floors also bed on top .. one night around MYR 600

4 ) wembley hotel - this hotel, usually i recommend to clients who got no idea what they want (like TS) - middle priced around myr 350 with inhouse carpark n breakfast, convenient, right infront of komtar (personally, i find this hotel boring, nothing special, business hotel type only)

5 ) another hotel i just stayed recently - Fifth Avenue Hotel very new hotel just opened - also on premium side - but priced at around myr 300 - 400 for a Mcalum room with lanai (i prefer with lanai one) breakfast/restaurant at very scenic floor .. nicely design rooms - and bathrooms with rattan doors etc ...
