cukurlah, live within 1km of school. parents these day really char siew. should just get a house near the school, so their children can just walk to school.

but if wanna compare 10-15 years ago and the number of cars now, unless your area got side walk that intergrade with bicycle+walking, it isn't safe anymore to cycle as kids these days

last time i live around 15KM from my school. dad use to take me to school using motorbike.. only need 10 minutes. nowadays, even if motorbike 15Km will easily take you 30min with all the traffic, one way road, no u turn, long traffic light and etc..

sound like what my late grand father use to say his children and grand children.. when he is still alive, his sentence 80% time will start with "during my time"(in local dialect).... his times is in the 30s-40s, always talk about before merdeka this and that..
