Its the only major problem affecting Kia Cerato 1.6 pre-FL and it is relatively cheap to fix either before or after the problem comes up. Other than the ECU issue, the car is rock solid reliable and cheap to maintain. Mine is from 2014 and has done 220k km now. Had the ECU problem about 4 years ago and got it fixed for around RM800.
