My previous Hyundai Elantra MD year 2012 replaced it's ECU 2 years ago, reason being the battery voltage is lower than required and it spoilt the ECU.

Kia k3 1.6 issue is due to capacitor leaking which the fix is change the capacitor only... I don't think lower voltage will cause capacitor leaking???

Thanks.

Are you referring to Cerato?

What if for 2013-2019 Picanto, Ioniq Hybrid, 2017-2018 Sportage / Tucson CRDi ?

Yes...ECU issue mostly 1.6 cerato K3....easy and cheap fix.. no need change ECU

I believe sportage is using 2.0NU engine like K3 2.0...the rest tak tau

Thanks for the info
How frequent do you need to replace this part?
Is it a common part number that shares amongst hyundai/kia models?
