The GM in my company is entitled to allowances for a car and housing, big ones, thousands something.
SGMs/VPs receive everything a GM gets (of course bigger amount), plus a company car and driver. You can increase the car allowance by opting out of the company car and driver package.
Of course, this doesn't include various other allowances, claims, and benefits.

No wonder some of my kilik are trying so hard to reach GM level.
