yup2 hEX Refresh is great, with arm cpu now can use docker directly on the router.

with that you can install adblocker like pi hole and adguard home directly into it  thumbup.gif

I am a person who likes to use to the bits-level of my investment when it comes to purchasing any form of computing / networking devices. I was planning to purchase the RB5009, but have to drop the plan due to other commitment. Perhaps I will soon to play with Mikrotik, again.

Just PSA. HEX Refresh uses an arm32v5 CPU. If your intention is to use public container image, it is extremely limited, almost useless.
If running container on Mikrotik is the goal, get arm64.

You are right. Its better to go with arm, arm64 and x86 archi-type.

I don't know. Cannot seems to find any information but this thing don't have 5Ghz wifi and with only 256MB RAM, I am not sure if you have any container you want to run on it.

Hi, this morning my Fiberhome router is not lighting up, and I noticed the LOS light on the ZTE modem is also not lit. What could be the problem? Do I need to replace the router?

LOS - should be off when working normally. It's Lost of signal, if got issue then it's on.

Router - try with another power supply.

I have changed the power supply, but it did not work. I replaced the router with a Deco X20, but I could not connect to the internet using the existing PPPoE username and password. Can any experts help me solve this?

I testing OpenWRT D-Link B1, somehow LAN speed crap but over wifi is nice, I wonder...

OpenWRT D-Link 2.5G > Mikrotik > 10G Managed Switch > ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (WI-FI) [Realtek 2.5G]

But I test download via IDM, can reach 2Gbps:

Test my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra WiFi6E via TP-Link Deco BE85
OpenWRT D-Link 2.5G > Mikrotik > 10G Managed Switch > 10G MultiMode Fiber SFP > TP-LINK Deco BE85 > my phone
user posted image

Kernel and Driver remain same, but I try Skyworth 2.5G, same results, also NijikaWRT and NijikaRTL give LAN slow but WiFi fast...

something fishy with ALCL OLT... or my Managed Switch

I not often check speedtest, this time seem LAN become shit...
