I read some of those CCP export of GFW documents and decided to just put my finding here. Maybe I will finish it, maybe I won't.

TLDR for your protection:
Block dst port 80 at your network edge.
They are abusing unencrypted connection to inject malware and turn your machine into botnet.
They are also using captive portal detection to profile your OS, browser, version. This is used to launch attack against targeted individual.
All historical data are saved for future reference and search. This simple method will protect unencrypted data from being recorded.

Unencrypted connections are very common, unless you specifically configure your browser and all software to only do HTTPS only. Many browser will do HTTP, then redirect to HTTPS.
Browser might do HTTPS first, but then quickly downgrade to HTTP if the attacker momentarily block port 443. This will then allow all the attacks to happen.

Finding:
Their system is full of American tech. They need Intel CPU for server. Their Fabric is using Intel Tofino + P4 programming language.
They use ONIE to load their customized network OS, which consist of RedHat Enterprise Linux as the base. DPDK is used for packet processing, and Grafana is used for dashboard.

They provide their stuff as managed services, meaning they will come and setup everything in your facility. They will then setup VPN and SSH so their staff in China can connect back to perform all daily operation and maintenance. This includes configuration changes and having unrestricted access to all data.

Data is also shared with Chinese Academy of Sciences who is involved in censorship research.

I am sure if The Party want them to track specific individual or perform any kind of cyber offensive, the company can do it, using all the access they have. We are all literally under surveillance not just by our government, but by the CCP as well.

I kind of feel like the still mysterious "A24" is referring to MCMC tower data collection. They have the exact solution with description matching what MCMC force mobile telco to collect. "24" is the year, which is 2024, also matches MCMC.

The system has components which are deployed in every individual telco. The control plane is central, which can be inside MCMC HQ. This again matches the description where the so called "anonymized" data is sent by telcos to MCMC. Yea, nothing is anonymous. IMSI is not anonymous as we will soon see.

The capability:
Record in real time every single cell phone movement.
Ability to filter each individual tower and time period. This will then show who are in this area at this specific time. It can also differentiate local SIM card, foreign SIM card, etc.
IMSI can be lookup by querying telco record, unveiling identity of subscriber.
Track movement of individual, including historical movement. Big brother knows when you go hotel, where you sleep, where you work, based on this movement data alone.

Combined with capability described previously, can inject malware or work with third party mercenary spyware like from NSO Group, Momento Labs, etc

What is unifi doing right now? Subang area again ping spikes like crazy. Reported few days ago they said already fix and now same issue came back.

same area , sunday also got this problem 800mbps now down to 1mbps and 1000ping

Same for me. I Can't even load lowyat forum. I had to use Digi data hotspot to even get anything to load.

Glad I wasn't the only one experiencing this. I'm from USJ 3 area, was watching Netflix then connection just dropped off around 5pm. Already 9:20pm but issue still the same.

USJ 6 here , sunday already happend once , speed drop to 1mbps and ping spike so high , but after few hrs everything back to normal , I thought it my problem lol
