QUOTE(LuckyLim @ Oct 27 2025, 08:35 PM) SWU 5.0 is not something new, so don’t worry so much. Moreover, two years later something better will come out. So, not a big deal. QUOTE(LuckyLim @ Oct 27 2025, 08:39 PM) Nobody can predict future. We wish we had such ability. LuckyLim liked this post

QUOTE(go626201 @ Oct 26 2025, 08:01 PM) Few weeks ago i did share about this GFW news in this thread, but i edited/deleted the replies. I saw your edited post afterward so I didn't know what it's about. But why you wanna remove it? This is network and broadband afterall.I read the report from Intersec Lab. Based on my understanding of how they work, and my understanding of how telco gear works, that thing can be DoS. Not gonna disclose it now, until they gone live. The chance of them fixing it is slim, given that's how their stuff is designed. |

QUOTE(Laier @ Oct 24 2025, 09:52 PM) Exactly what I did. Submit a request for termination, and they'll ask you why you're cancelling your sub, then just tell them the reason and they'll help you out in a jiffy. Best thing is, my contract ended just two days ago and I min-maxed the heck out of my sub, hahaha. Rm90 for two more years for essentially what I'm having right now is a no brainer. For the masses, unifi is enough. Just on the phone to accept the offer ? will they mentioned tnc bla bla bla etc ? or any other verification ?QUOTE(tzxsean @ Oct 25 2025, 10:49 AM) got a call from unifi on Thu about staywithunifi 5.0 after submitting termination request which plan u get?now waiting for the plan change QUOTE(Laier @ Oct 25 2025, 11:09 AM) Sorry to hear about that bud, you can call in and ask for someone from the termination dept to contact you for plan adjustment, but only after you've submitted your request for termination. After submitting your service termination, you have a 30 days grace period before they actually cut off your line. To submit a request for termination is done by the unifi app itself?Once submitted, unifi will confirm and call me to double confirm the termination ?? hmm for "30 days grace period before they actually cut off your line." - means that I still have the option to reenable my account without go to tm point and submit all the documents? ** What if they dont counter offer, then how tho ? ** This post has been edited by LuckyLim: Oct 27 2025, 10:37 PM |

You just showed us the effect of censorship.Because as the DNS poisoning already in trial before for the last time, this GFW thing indeed may or may not be happens in MY. But i think since the news on live now, the possibility for implement something like this is quite low. The mere thought of upsetting big brother dissuade you from doing it, even if you are just reporting fact. Plus, the Internet here is still open, unlike China. |

QUOTE(LuckyLim @ Oct 28 2025, 10:42 AM) You overthink too much. They will. SWU 5.0 has been offered since April, I'm the first one to get it here. 6 months already and it is not something new or special. Tons of forumers here are already on SWU 5.0.If you are really unlucky and not being offered, then just cancel the termination and try again next time.
