A free account allows you to use the service with up to 300,000 queries per month, which you can manage from the NextDNS dashboard.

It's free 300,000 queries each month. So if you are light user it should be sufficient.

For the cost of a burger per month, it's great for the problem it solves.

You only need to upgrade when you actually use more than that. They will still serve you DNS even if you exceeded 300k, only without filtering, which is no different from Google DNS.

Think about it, if they do not monetize their product, they will most definitely monetize your data.

Nope, this is due YouTube serves ads and videos from same domain as YouTube domain, blocking these domain will break playback entirely.

So if you need block ads, you can use browser like Brave browser or uBlock Origin.

Raised online termination at 15 Oct, ticket created in the system at 16 Oct.
TM called in at 23 Oct and asked bout the reason of termination then told them have offer from Astro for 500mbps rm90.
The TM staff will tell you that Astro one is not permanent, but Unifi can offer the same package permanently.
Then just accept the offer, and they will start to read the TnC and then just tell them setuju then everything settled.

I'm using Amazon EC2 as the backend and Amazon CloudFront as the front door.

Then I run this:
https://github.com/shadowsocksr-live/overtls

You can read back my previous few post for more details.
Basically I don't just run a normal VPN, it's a full blown anti-censorship system.
I'm ready for Fuckmee

Load balancing in action.
How nice if TM actually fly their staff around the world instead of flying their customer's packet around the world.

You can check here if TM advertise your prefix to SingTel
https://stixlg.singtel.com/

Looking at your trace, it seems not.
Your IP block is being load balanced to France

Your only choice is:
1. Keep reconnecting PPPoE till you get a prefix that's advertised to SingTel.
2. Change telco. This behavior is expected and a side effect of load balancing.

Say you do get a new IP block that's working with SingTel, it might still break with other endpoint.

Yeah I plan to just keep rebooting my ONT tonight or tomorrow to get a new IP block. My old IP block of 115.135.x was going solid to overseas with like sub 20ms, but just shat the bed one day shakehead.gif

The new IP blocks I've been assigned to after PPPoE disconnected have been consistently worse than the old blocks

It's quite a Russian roulette how long an IP block will behave consistently. Whenever the BGP optimization software perform a new optimization, what prefix gets advertised where, who gets prepending, etc are kinda random.

TM also have rate limiting for PPPoE reconnection attempt. Keep that in mind as you might just DoS yourself offline.

If your area just got IP renumbered, then prefix could be fixed, especially if you're from rural area. If this is the case changing telco is the only choice.
