Yes, TM has paymaster grading. I accompanied my second sister to the nearest TM Point and was told the same thing too. She said something like after checking on her system, I see you are a good paymaster blah blah blah, we are offering you this X plan.

For sure, both may need to present together. Last time I changed ownership from my name to my sister, we both presented at the same time to do the changes. Of course, we didn't change address, still the same address.

I tried to apply for my aunt hse ( using 100mbps with Anika package) for rm 98 via the unifi help. They say cant offer. Only can offer when termination team call back. Also ask to submit the IC and also bank statement ( compulsory for in case of refund ). If walk in to tmpoint easier ? Asking for SWU 5.0 ( 500mbps for rm90 😀)

This is actually the best speed you can get due to Bandwidth Delay Product (BDP).

Use the calculator here:
https://www.omnicalculator.com/other/bandwidth-delay-product

200Mbps is your effective speed. Your 500Mbps download won't matter when acting as middleman.
At 134ms latency, 26.8 Mbps is the theoretical max and you are actually very close.

This is the reason why we need CDN in every metro area. The higher the speed, the harder BDP hits.

At high speed + high latency environment, you require network stack tuning.
For 100 Gbps, network stack tuning is a must even for LAN. Without it, you will not hit those speed.
Also for speed like 100 Gbps, you need gigabytes of packet buffer (memory) just to sustain those speed.

CORRECTION:
Should be 100 Mbps since that's the slowest link.
You are limited by the Scaling Windows. The OS will limit packet buffer to prevent them from scaling forever and eats up all your memory. You need to manually increase them on both end.

Use online method, no postpaid thingy.

Go to TMPoint, depends on your luck, you will get:
- No offer
- Got offer, but need to subscribe postpaid
- Got offer and no need to subscribe postpaid

What is online method?

Any good offer better go to Unifi Center instead online or those 3rd party authorized retailer. Read back old posts if you new.

Just got the 1Gbps at rm159 and 6 months waiver . Dem fast. (This deal not advertised)

Unfortunately even for my great router (and many expensive router) only can reach wifi 920 speed at best . I think ok la

Old unifi customer ought to check it out, totally pricing unmatched by anything in the market now
