The board basically is a dc automatic relay switch but not a voltage regulator. The output voltage is equal to input1 or nput2 voltage but both inputs must be in same voltage (dc) because at the same time input 1 will charge input2. For me the purpose not specifically for CPE (ONU/ONR/modem/router) but any devices which powered by 12Vdc.
I cut old router 12V/2A adapter into 2. The adapter part as an input, the rest as an output. U can search the board in shopee/lazada automatic power switch module. The real backup UPS use same concept, the difference only it have inverter module to convert Vdc to 240Vac.
Your router is using 12V? But some model of Asus running at 18~19V, that lead–acid battery only 12~13V which cannot apply directly to Asus router I cut old router 12V/2A adapter into 2. The adapter part as an input, the rest as an output. U can search the board in shopee/lazada automatic power switch module.
