Disabling IPv6 cannot solve congestion issue.
They will help if you refuse to use Google DNS, like using controld or nextdns.

There's no such thing as naik motor instead of driving in network.

TM Unifi is getting more desperate this days. Their hardcore approach to retain their customers is by having combine both BTU and router under combo box. NO MORE STANDALONE BTU.

Their device contract is 2 years and warranty for combo box is 1 year only.

They are currently being probed by MCMC as some professionals have reported them as this is against the consumer law act by forcefully implementing this which is causing inconvenience to consumers which is benefiting them.

Great to know this. I hope all telco who pull this stunt kena saman.

My current package is 500mbps, 2 routers fiberhome SR1041F given by TM, 1 at living room, another 1 at 2nd floor. At living room, wifi can get 400+mbps, while at 2nd floor, wifi only can get 100 to 200+ mbps, will changing a new router help? Or i should change mesh system? Any recommendations? Thank you.

If you don't feel like spending money to upgrade anything, then watch this:

If you have devices at the far end of your house, which additionally means you have a hidden node problem:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hidden_node_problem

Many people think they can buy a strongest signal AP to fix problem. No you don't. You trade one problem with another.

It's not even 5PM and browsing is already hellishly slow here, in PJ. Meanwhile, speed tests show that my download:upload is 900:500. What a damned joke.

I need to save up so I can terminate my contract early, and port out. Seriously, screw TM.

I also feel the Internet has been slow in the past two days. I always turn off the company's VPN when I use the laptop, as Reddit blocks the connection. laugh.gif

I have no choice but to use the company's VPN now, and it is fast again.

so i got the RM90 package by sending an feedback enquiry asking for any promotion for end-of-contract user via the apps and mentioning the competitors offers.
whole process took 4-5 days including installing the new router, no need terminate or transfer id  laugh.gif

Got step by step guide on what and where you did it?

Cause my unifi portal got bugged and can’t submit termination request by myself. Already done it through live agent and with a case opened but 2 weeks over and no any sign yet. Kind of concerned if the bugged unifi portal will affect the standard process.

Last time when I was outstationing in KL, using TIME and Unifi
Which one is terrible browsing websites in China
The other...is constantly bad
I ended up VPN back to my home's Maxis which solved ALL the issues
Still have 18 months of contract to go, this is going to be painful
