I rented a 2nd floor shop lot. My landlord doesn't want to make agreement for more than 2 years.

Agreement is every 2 years and both parties need to pay the agreement fee to the lawyer (50% each). Every two years, he naik my rental fee for more than or = 15%.

When I asked if agreement can be 3 years. He pushed to ask lawyer. He said if lawyer said can, then can. I know his way la. Why need to push to lawyer.

If I renew now, next two years, he will naik for another 15%. I think this is his tactic too to stay at 2 years only so he can do so every 2 years. But it is hardly to get tenant at second floor.

Should I stay or find another? If find another, I need to pay moving and new renovation cost.
