Again, wrong perception, most Malay are orang asli descendents, only difference is they stop coexist with mother nature a long time ago and accept development and many outsider influences that have shaped their culture.

Meanwhile, orang asli is similar to the Amish community, steadfast with their ancestors' traditional way of living by coexisting with mother nature mostly.

No. I don’t think that is correct.
I think Malays are like the white people in Australia.
They migrated from somewhere else.
Maybe some orang asli converted to Muslim and take on a Muslim name and you think they are Malay.

By the way, do you know there are many words in Malay that is the same as Hindi?

Totally wrong

Historical explorers from Portuguese, Dutch, Arabs and China already long name this area as Malay Archipelago with Malay as lingua franca

Malay civilisation due to trade with India, influenced by them and then the Arabs bring in another wave of influence so Malay language is also contained word from Hindi and also arabic.

Australia western civilisation under Captain Cook came way later and in different situations

That is a weak point. The Malay arrived before Portuguese, Dutch etc. Even if they named it Malay Archipelago doesn’t mean the Malay are orang asli. It just means Malay are here earlier than the Portuguese, Dutch etc.

Same like the whites in Australia, What circumstance and when they arrive doesn’t matter. The point is they came from other places. That is why the whites in Australia are not orang asli (because they came from other places).

In history the ‘rights’ always depends on who create the culture and language ot that particular region ..

Even in China they can argue the indigenous is way earlier than all the Hans or any other but history will record as Han is the earliest to build civilisation and set the culture, government and language

Yes orang asli is earlier respectfully in Malay archipelago but they dont do anything related to civilisation

I agree with you.
That is what I’m trying to explain to smsid In post 48. Malay are not orang asli. But he kept quiet without any reply.
