New to pedals.gettin stompboxes instead of multis?, advice pls..

i'd suggest a metalzone/moen mo-vm for killer distortion, other pedals are up to you really, see what kind of sound you wanna get. common pedals used are usually distortion, chorus, flanger.. i don't think many people use reverb pedals cuz they're pretty expensive so they use it from their amps/multi fx.
for me the most important is distortion, don't need anything else  the metalzone/violent metal would be great for what you play cuz they are very versatile and can get you many tones  if you want, you could even get an equalizer pedal or an acoustic simulator  |
