https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/...hoTYTU/htmlview Use this to compare all the handheld For this spec, i think powkiddy rg10x will be better https://handhelds.miraheze.org/wiki/POWKIDDY_RGB10X Same hardware as r36s but atleast better qc My fav go to channel for retro handheld R36s uses RK3326 processor. Solid cpu but can emulate up to ps1 These chip can also handle early pc games via portmaster Anyway u can get more info in reddit subsection sbcgaming This post has been edited by RT8081: Apr 18 2025, 10:37 PM JimbeamofNRT and Seager liked this post

QUOTE(Seager @ Apr 19 2025, 10:49 AM) Yeah, you can choose screen type, [type of OS (linux - for pc port support) or android for streaming and android apps, cpu type for type of emulation. [Gba. Sness. PS1, or Ps2].As for brand, you have anbernic, powkiddy [main competitors] or go for models like trimui smart pro, x55, odin, retroid pro [more beefier and expensive which can run ps2] This post has been edited by RT8081: Apr 19 2025, 11:20 AM |

QUOTE(knazlee @ Apr 19 2025, 11:10 AM) Which would you recommend for ps1 emulation? Dont want to carry the SD around just to play digimon world 1 If ps 1 those budget anbernic [rg [number] xx] series can run..even rg35xx or rg35xx h can run. What you want to consider is the layout of controller (gba style or horizontal layout) and screen size [4:3], or 1:1 or 16:9 Cpu plays a part for your emulation. If you also want to emulate PSP, then u need beefier cpu like RK3566 [mostly on powkiddy rgb30 or x55/x28) Check the spreadsheet and reddit link above me. Also go through that youtube channel, he gives very much indepth review of all type of console. Last you want to consider as well is how small u want it. X55 is larger but 16:9, where else rg35xx / rgb10x is smaller This is for rg35 xx / rg35 xx h Powkiddy x55 This post has been edited by RT8081: Apr 19 2025, 11:22 AM |

QUOTE(RT8081 @ Apr 19 2025, 07:27 PM) Yerp this solidified my choice. Ordered the rg40xxV because of the 4 inch screen and slightly easy to cary brick shape around instead of the SD for my ps1 emulation. Thanks man. Really appreciate your replies RT8081 liked this post
