iphone, will be getting in malaysia, 1900,
ipod touch will be getting in australia, 400aus

i heard tat iphone is still having some problems, and i am maxis user, so duno wat to choose, headache now, can anyone tell me the pros and cons???

No warranty on iphone and world wide warranty on ipod touch. thats one con

btw where u getting iphone for 1900?everywhere i ask seems to be charging RM3k or more

i am using a 16gb ipod touch and it really hurts that it doesnt make calls....hehehe......

btw, i got my ipod touch in australia as well
AUD$480, duty free at the sydney airport....hehe....

but too bad they will only pass u the ipod when u clear customs and imigration.....they wont give it to u on the spot....

iphone is a phone, ipod is a mp3 player, what so confuse to choose between them? If u need the phone function, buy iphone, if u don't need then buy ipod lah.

i was struggled with this problem before too..but i chosen iphone at the end...why? almost same size...there is no points to have 1 hp, 1 ipod touch..and bring them out at the same time....bulky

haha, i was deciding between this 2 a week ago, n i decided to go for ipod touch cause the iphone in nz is super over priced, and it can't beat my n95 yet, so...sigh~ haha will probably get an iphone after i get back to malaysia or singapore, or maybe will just wait for ther release of 3G iphone in near future.

to add on, 2 things that i regret buying ipod touch is the lack of camera and bluetooth

iPhone is a phone.

iPod Touch is an music and video player device. iPod Touch comes with Wi-Fi are already good enough without camera. Yet again, it is a music and video player not camera.

I'll choose iPhone, that's all

Go fer iPhone. That's what I did. Don't compare pros n cons anymore. It'll make u more confused haha. No regret =)

iphone of course.. i own both.. then let go the touch.. bcos iphone got everything the touch had plus phone..

main problem is maxis stil cant be use on iphone....

I suggest that you wait for iPhone to officially launch in Malaysia.. So that you can have all the latest firmwares to fix certain bugs/issues and have a Full International Warranty.


Well its just my personal point of view. At the end of the day, its still up to you.

Get iPhone cause it's much better and problems free than the iPod touch, why? iPhone uses expensive parts inside it so it's super durable and reliable. iPod touch uses almost cheap parts that's why you hear lots of problems when user using it.

One more thing, after you own and use the iPod touch for a while, you're gonna crave for an iPhone like me. Trust me.

this is the problem i am considering also, bcoz i am maxis user, is it necessary to change to other operator???
