Greetings,

I just started to play pickleball and was looking for paddle for myself.
Hope this thread and bring some discussion on paddle discussion, reviews, pros and cons

Played with Vatic Pro - feels good, and good spin.

Currently I am looking at this Acsion Phoenix (market as thermoformed) not sure how the feeling while playing with non thermoformed.
Anyone has any idea? biggrin.gif

Can get a Luzz beginner paddle with the sandblasted surface.
Very nice paddle to learn control and spin.
PM me if you want a 20% discount code to be used at the Luzz website

Vatic pro is a very good paddle which you can use till intermediate and to advanced levels also . Thermoformed paddles give extra power in your shots . I'm a vatic pro prism flash user now , currently exploring Ronbus pulsar R1 and Volair Forza mach 1 which are 2nd gen thermo formed paddles for more power.

My advice is to go demo and try out the paddles during demo sessions or go to shops which allow you to demo paddles like my pickle at strand mall . or try your friends paddles . thats the best way to see if the paddle suits you.

I got access to many paddles but I personally do not like to "Review" them because it's really subjective.

Some things you can see in numbers (eg twist weight, swing weight, so on) but in the end no matter how you must try it to see how it actually feels when in action, and whether the response suits your play style.

Does it pop the way you want? Dwell time? Is the paddle forgiving (sweet spot size)?
