So SkyWorld just dropped RM110mil for a 3-acre parcel in Mont Kiara 😳

👉 The Edge article: https://theedgemalaysia.com/node/751807

They’re planning a high-rise stratified residential project, which sounds very on-brand for them. Honestly, I think this could be a solid move.

SkyWorld’s condos are usually elegant, practical, and well-designed — they’ve got a decent track record (EdgeProp awards, good workmanship, etc.).
But... their past launches were mostly in less "prestigious" areas (Setapak, Setiawangsa, Taman Desa etc.). This MK address might finally complement their design language — premium area to match premium look & feel.

🔥 Questions to the gang here:

Anyone knows the exact location of this site? Near where in MK — Arcoris side? Kiara 3? Solaris?

From an investment point of view — too saturated or just nice? Still got upside?

Will buyers trust SkyWorld to pull off a luxury product in a market like Mont Kiara?

I’m genuinely curious. This might be a good opportunity if priced right — especially if they bring their design + practicality combo here. But Mont Kiara also not an easy playground... many big boys there already.

Any insiders or MK kaki here — what’s your take?

As per Bursa Announcement: https://www.bursamalaysia.com/market_inform...?ann_id=3544127
, the land is located at Jalan Kiara, approximately 200 metres away from the Mont Kiara International School.

It could be this land (circled in red), as it matches the description.

lol I doubt so, this is MK not KLCC/Jalan Ampang area and price wise is not comparable to Pavilion Mont Kiara where the later can command higher price psf i.e. RM1,200+

Actually depends on the size of the condo. If lets say above 1,500sq ft price maybe RM750+ to RM900+ psf perhaps.

This land is currently used as carpark by the Mont Kiara International School. Btw MKIS have back door too at Jalan Kiara 4. So who know if is the setinggan area beside Inspirasi.

The bursa announcement mentions "Jalan Kiara" so should be the MKIS carpark

Not so good news for Allevia then. Their most premium layouts claiming unblocked view with no squatter sight will be gone

Then , most likely this site will continue the road extension from Allevia /Jalan Kiara 4 to Jalan Segambut Dalam.

Traffic is already bad around there and it will never get better unless the school relocated elsewhere.

Interesting analysis by Wen Hsiang.

He’s forecasting that the units here will start from around RM2.85 million.

What’s your take on this?

Note: To skip to that section, it started at 10.00 mark.
