At an IPO price of RM0.55/share, FIBRO is priced at a trailing PER of 14.1x FY24 core earnings. There is no listed company on Bursa Malaysia that is directly comparable to FIBRO. As such, we have identified GADANG, MGB and DENGKIL as the closest peers for comparison, given their similar clientele in the same industry with similar market dynamics.

Consequently, we ascribe a target PER of 10x FY25 earnings, arriving at a fair value of RM0.56/share Argghh .
