 17 roads closed for Da Ge Xi Jinping CCP visit

total of 17 roads across the Klang Valley will be temporarily closed from Tuesday, 15 April, to Thursday, 17 April, in conjunction with the official visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Malaysia

In a statement, Federal Traffic Enforcement and Investigation Department director Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri said the road closures are expected to last between 30 and 45 minutes to allow safe passage for the delegation, after which the roads will be reopened to traffic.

He advised motorists to avoid the affected roads, plan their journeys accordingly, and follow instructions from traffic personnel.

A total of 378 officers and personnel will be deployed to escort dignitaries, manage traffic, and enforce road regulations during the visit.


The following roads will be affected:

At 6pm on Tuesday, 15 April:
- Lebuh KLIA
- Elite Highway (North-South Expressway Central Link)
- Putrajaya Ring Road
- Putrajaya-Dengkil Highway
- Persiaran Selatan
- Lebuh Gemilang
- Jalan P5

At 9.30am on Wednesday, 16 April:
- Lebuh Gemilang
- Persiaran Selatan
- Putrajaya-Dengkil Highway
- Putrajaya Ring Road
- MEX Highway
- Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS)
- Setiawangsa-Pantai Expressway (SPE)
- Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (SUKE)
- New Pantai Expressway (NPE)
- Smart Tunnel
- KL-Seremban Highway
- Jalan Istana
- Jalan Damansara
- Jalan Sultan Abdul Halim
- Jalan Sultan Iskandar

At 12.30pm on Wednesday, 16 April:
- Jalan Sultan Abdul Halim
- Jalan Sultan Iskandar
- Jalan Damansara
- Jalan Istana
- KL-Seremban Highway
- NPE
