Mangsa berusia berusia 16 tahun itu yang diculik di Seremban, dibebaskan selepas sejumlah wang tebusan dibayar.

Timbalan Pengarah (Operasi/Risikan) Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah Bukit Aman Datuk Fadil Marsus berkata, mangsa diculik pada jam 5.45 petang, 10 April lalu di Seremban.

Kumpulan penculik katanya meminta wang tebusan sebanyak RM2 juta sebelum keluarga mangsa membayar RM280,000 dan sejumlah barang kemas.

Mangsa dibebaskan di Sendayan pada jam 8.30 malam keesokan harinya.

Siasatan polis kemudian membawa kepada beberapa serbuan dan tangkapan.

Jelas beliau, kira-kira jam 5 pagi tadi,
suspek berusia 21 tahun itu dikesan di sebuah lokasi di sekitar Klang.

Pasukan polis kemudian mengejar kereta dipandu suspek sehingga ke Jalan Bayu Tinggi, Bandar Bukit Tinggi.

Suspek enggan memberhentikan kereta sebaliknya bertindak merempuh kenderaan polis dan melepaskan tembakan.

Kereta dinaiki suspek kemudian dipintas sebelum suspek berjaya ditembak mati.

“Ini merupakan suspek yang kita percaya positif terlibat dalam kes culik di Seremban.
Selain itu ada beberapa serbuan dan tangkapan yang kita buat, sejurus selepas kejadian,” katanya di tempat kejadian pagi ini.

Kereta dipandu suspek katanya sebelum ini digunakan untuk menurunkan mangsa di satu lokasi di Sendayan.

Pemeriksaan pada kereta dipandu suspek, polis menemui sepucuk pistol dan sebilah parang.

Beliau turut berterima kasih kepada masyarakat yang membantu menyalurkan maklumat kepada pihak polis sehingga berjaya menumpaskan kumpulan penculik berkenaan.

nope
the law has changed....the punishment for kidnapping now is just a mere few years jail only...not even 20 years

which is why u saw a rapid increase in kidnapping and human trafficking case recently since last year
apparently the punishment is now way lighter

even though this is a very high risk and low return work.
say 3 people job..... snatch, driver +2 people to do the snatching, someone need to guard while 2 people go do the demand and collect ransom
reward 300k split 3 way each only 100k
that can last how long? cant even buy a property to collect rental

if got more people involved and more to split even less reward
