i would say oppo x9 pro and vivo x300 pro spec looks similar but actually target different users.

for those who appreciate bigger battery sure go for oppo x9 pro.

gor those who appreciate better sharpness of telephoto sure go for vivo x300 pro.

china forum got ppl reported telephoto of vivo x300 pro better than oppo find x9 pro, i suspect it is due to the f2.1 vs f2.7 aperture where f2.1 allows more light but softer image while f2.7 gives sharper image. some more oppo x9 pro telephoto is only 70mm (3x), where vivi x300 pro is 85mm (3.7x)
