Ya this also an issue if the phone is not globally release. I remember previously my Oneplus until it passed away still didn't get 5G connection.

5G is very spotty, Even in Singapore,
Malaysia probably take ages to get full 5G coverage.

I take MRT everyday,
underground = LTE+
Overhead track, some location even have 5G but website load like snail crawl, sometimes have to change back to 4G
some shopping mall underground also 5G cant use
My house bathroom, when i sit down 5G straight cant use lol
most of the time 4G is more reliable .

But highway no issue, bandwidth test run as high 1gpbs with oneplus 11

Umobile has launched it's ULTRA5G in Sabah. My X8 Ultra never get it. My gf X200 can receive and shows ULTRA5g while mine does not. Speed test around 600mbps while mine is getting 200mbpa. Anyone remember what band the X8 ultra has and what band UM ultra 5g is on?? Headache

Global set should not have problem if using on Malaysia,
Oppo/oneplus/vivo all have 3 set support different part of the world, Global, CN and USA.
Global set will work fine in MY, few things may affect the connectivity are Sim, network and phone firmware.

eg my op7T can get almost full bandwidth from wifi5 (866mbps), but my op8 only 5mbps.
both connect to same network and both are side by side, but as soon as i start using the phone, the bandwidth will become higher,
another factor is phone save battery by using slower network.
