Looks good. In fact, i just open this global access account few days ago. Waiting for debit card arrived.

Unfortunately, I wish if maybank can please add Chinese yuan (CNY) currency onto this one as for foreign currency balance, especially I'm using Alipay and WeChat pay often for online payments and online subscription on Chinese platforms.

I'm still stuck with enrichmoney card for CNY payment purpose but I need to use another phone with google play service to use the enrichmoney app to do that without additional 1% markup and if I'm using maybank debit card directly for this it will charge additional 1% markup for that so that's why I'm using enrichmoney card for CNY payment purpose.

So I called Maybank just now, asking if I can make the GA debit card my main one and cancel the rest.
He said it's not advisable and asked to keep the other card first.
He also said they're pilot testing on some users so that the account and card will show up on Maybank2u. Once it shows up for everyone, then can maybe cancel it.
Otherwise go cancel the RM8 debit fee, so at least the won't need to pay anything for both cards.

Been using this account as my main foreign transaction driver. so far so good.

But there is still some quirks unsoved, like contactless is not accepted at petrol station, only pin (but worked fine in any other terminals like retail or hotel).

Also still can't add into google wallet. The card is now recognized, but fail without any meaningful error in app authentication step.

I only use this card because I already got Maybank main acc, to make things simpler since I don't need to maintain separate wise account anymore.
