We ascribe a fair value of RM0.71 for REACHTEN. Our valuation is derived by pegging a forward P/E of 13.0x to the mid-FY26f EPS of 5.44 sen, implying a 36.5% upside to its IPO price of RM0.52. We believe the pegged P/E is fair given the 12- month forward P/E and trailing 12-month P/E among its closest peers stood at 13.3- 16.5x.

Malacca Securities also gave a FV of 26 sen for MSB Global Group Bhd.

However, it opened this morning at only 17 sen i.e. 3 sen below its IPO price of 20 sen.

The FVs given by brokerage firms are no longer reliable in a down market !

Recently, LSH Capital also opened below its IPO price of 88 sen despite glowing reports.
