Maybe can consider U mobile? I think where you planning to use the roaming also matters.

as other mentions U Mobile has a decent roaming coverage however you must make sure the country you visit is in their list of countries, otherwise you will receive no signal and there's not even an option for paid expensive roaming, there simply is no agreement and no roaming

Just buy travel SIM from Hello1010 if you are not worried about normal phone calls when roaming.

If your phone support eSIM, just buy the plan according to your travel needs.
https://esimdb.com/ My oversea trip, every time I buy different plan from different provider. After back from each trip, just delete off the eSIM. Easy My last trip to Japan I bought the unlimited plan and broaccast it as hotspot letting my entire family to connect to |

The further you go the higher the response (ping) you got even using Facebook will be a bit laggy. Let say you are in UK roaming with EE, your data will going from EE (UK) to your SIM original telco (Malaysia or else) then back to EE. Normally 10ms link will become 300ms.

My default has always been to purchase a local sim when traveling, but never at the airport because they charge tourist prices. Sometimes I go for esims, although convenient they are not that cheap. Has anybody tried sims from Gogo2roams or Hello1010?

Hotlink, but become expensive in recent year
for esim GlobalYo not too bad, affordable while stay connected, used quite few times during short stay in Taiwan, their regional place is cheaper than country specific plan so choose carefully. AirAlo have signup offer for 300mb for 3 days https://specials.priceless.com/en-ap/offers...rId=&productId= But recently not using anymore, fierce competition on Sg telco keep offering free big international roaming plans is rendering other esim plan effectively useless. |
