bearbear: sorry to hear tat too... but can it be fixed? i think u can try to glue it back if its putus, meaning tat the joint can be glued back again... smile.gif

zefflodo: after this purchase no more rich le... resting continues... sweat.gif

Shamanwee: yes... the models u mention which look fake might be those u saw in major departmental stores, but those are budget collectibles, so the quality should be ok since its under a quite reasonable price... if u would like to go to high end diecasts, u can head to Nikko Midvalley, Kyosho BTS, Tamiya Underground at One Utama to check out these models... they aint cheap but the quality is no doubt... these models come from autoart, kyosho, minichamps, BBR, Hotworks, Tamiya (for its 1/12 scale models), these are the high end diecast models i know here in malaysia... nod.gif

yup... as my vdeocam doesnt have flash, i got no choice but only can do photoshoot during daytime nia... i oso think tat the sunlight probably is the best lighting since it can bring out the real color of the car model... btw very nice models u collect... aa is great for collection n may gain value in times to come too... tongue.gif after all, its a hobby mah... biggrin.gif hope to see some shots from u soon too! icon_rolleyes.gif

anyway, as promised... here are the fresh shots taken today from my latest acquisition... first up my most favourite model currently - the Reventon rclxm9.gif

the pros - matt grey body color, awesone looking wheels, quite detail engine bay, quite detail air intake/flow areas
the cons - lack of brake calipers, painted side signal indicators, poorly done LED rear lights, interior slightly dissatisfied, lack of side window glasses

user posted image

1/18 scale made by Bburago... i tot this model will be made in thailand since currently most bburago models are from there... but this one is from china... although its not as detail n fine like those from high end diecast makers, the matt grey body has oredi melted my heart... biggrin.gif  i juz love to touch the body surface coz its juz simply gorgeous... pictars speak a thousand words, more pics n review after the jump... sorry for poor image quality blush.gif

juzz4carz: good try on the shots! good focus on ur model...keep ur shots coming! thumbup.gif btw, i suggest u to sweep off the dust before u take every shot...  wink.gif

bout the photo post, i dono will there be difference between normal member n new member, but i think maximum should be 10 pics per post (from photobucket, imageshack etc)... if u would like to post more, try to create a new post n post up ur pics as well...

n bout the scuderia f430, i was able to spot quite a number of stock in singapore le... in malaysia, havent yet le... n bout the dakar rally pajero, i dono whether we have chance to see it here in malaysia since its from solido de... some hobby shop owner never heard of this brand name before! doh.gif  laugh.gif

Shamanwee: yup... i guess so... if not wrong this real masterpiece costs around 1 million Euro without tax yet... n its pretty exclusive since 20 will be existed in this world... i got it in a much expensive price around RM160... nod.gif
*
u mean u bought this model for just RM160?? shocking.gif

yup nod.gif after all its from Bburago... Bburago models do not exceed RM200... Bburago is part of Maisto company, so their models are considered as budget collectibles... current Bburago models sold in departmental stores are normally around RM149.90 - RM169.90... depends on which series ur choosing... happy.gif

QUOTE(juzz4carz @ May 8 2008, 01:43 AM)
It's the wide body and massive wing that made me buy this...
If you want one I have the racing version (new) for sale, PM me...
user posted image

It would have been better if you could open the door etc...sealed means they don't have to craft the engine bay...save cost... tongue.gif
Still the interior is very detail. On the plus side you don't get dust on the inside...

wah this is smart too...damm cun...if it is pearl white colour then it will be cool..

Shamanwee: great! hope to see ur shots in times to come! smile.gif

mchw08: so hows ur comment on the reventon? is there lot of stock there? unsure.gif

juzz4carz: hehe thanks for compliment! biggrin.gif its nice to see more collectors here in the thread... so mind to share ur experience in diecast collecting? wat models u have there currently? solido i did hear it but never spot any here in malaysia... im interested in their Citroen C4 WRC, Sebastian Loeb's model, but too bad i cant get any here in malaysia... sad.gif

bout the pics, i juz try to do reference on those car magazine, n try it on the models lor... i don have digicam currently, juz use vdeocam to shoot nia, so image quality is not tat good de... try to pay attention on 3 things when u photoshoot - lighting, camera focus n zooming... tis is wat i learn so far in car model photography... do try urself! nod.gif

alimony: try Kyosho BTS to see if they still have M3 CSL n GTR... coz last time when i visited there i spotted both of these models, but it was bout a year ago le...  icon_rolleyes.gif
