How is working at AMD (not TF AMD) life like at Penang? How is the pay, work-life balance and office environment in your department?



Also, if anyone here knows, have they moved to GBS by the Sea yet?

junior pay is similar to competitor

senior pay might be better than competitor (of course depending on grade) senior here stands for g6 7 8 9 10 wrt competitor

Work life balance is depending on which org and your roles ..whether is finance or engineering (even engineering different org also have diff level of stress) - like my org ..work life balance is ..almost tarak lol.. because our counterpart at US ..so many night meeting

but good thing no early meeting


now we still at EQ but Q3 mid will move to GBS by the sea

Yes still but limited

good lah can ular here and there in the morning

basically, work like integration.

not really

daytime i have non technical meeting like site meeting ; curriculum meeting etc

but atleast it's in same geo/timezone ..so atleast after 9am instead of 7 or 6

I thought AMD is based in western coast, so a lot of early meetings no?
