Op12 was curve screen , the OP13 was quad-curve , the 3D hot bending from this brand was started for quad-curve phone , like the OP12 Curve screen might need UV GLUE type one only able to stick properly , dont have those 3d hot bend

I believe the 3D hot-bending was introduce for the quad-curve screen only.

ya that true haha , but if flat screen with very thin bazel like iphone 16pm , then only 3D Hot-bending could offer the most thin bazel with edge to edge coverage , normal temp glass can't meet this level.  Once u try 3D hot-bending , alittle bit hard to back to normal temp glass. The only downside was....pricy

hey guys, anyone using OP13 Msia set with umobile n digi? im having issue with both data line..once i enter no receiption area, the data wont reconnect until i rebooted multiple times..anyone with the same issue ?

I think by naked eye is very hard to differentiate 1.5k vs 2k screen resolution. Refresh rate increased significantly. Again, I'm not sure if naked eye can differentiate.

Indeed there is no stable oxygen version for flashing purpose. A lot of bugs as well. But your 801 version is very dated to be honest. Latest version is 860. Each month update I can see a lot of new things being added which to a certain extend is useful.

I heard one plus is pretty firm this round as outside china dealer is making noise that consumer is importing cn set directly and flash it to oxygen os. This makes local dealer harder to survive. Hence no stable oxygen firmware ready to be flashed.

I guess I'll try to flash it to colorOS if that's the case, just gotta find a guide. I don't wanna be missing out on any new features

165hz only active for gaming , for daily usage they will stay on LTPO 1hz - 120hz ， and the 165hz already started to support alot of fps china games , so it not really a gimmick now.

If u are into FPS gaming 165hz is just HUGE HUGE HUGE improvement over 120fps. U can see the diff between 165 vs 120 on this video.

I would also prefer if oneplus 15 can use a better screen like the Samsung m14 material lol.

sure , even 90fps is more than enough for normal scrolling usage , 120fps at first created also because FPS games already hit 120fps , but with the recent release of the powerful SoC , they finally can boots up to 165hz for gaming and get better experience. If not wasted lo so strong the SoC just for whatsapp/tiktok.

Well you have a point too. It just that I couldn't resist myself from looking into Samsung s25u display simply  because I find it stunning with super vivid visual experience. I can't wait to see if iqoo15 can demonstrate such visual experience to me or not as I believe color tuning also plays a role.
