= seems the shophouse building project has already been completed when the gas pipeline caught fire on 1 April 2025, ie no  major digging/excavation work was being carried out on 1 April 2025 or on 1 March 2025.

Anyway, let's wait for the official accident investigation result.

heavy loads over stress pipeline , leads to leak , leads to explosion

if immediate puncture then explosion, sure fatality already .

if you want to run heavy load over pipeline, suppose to have minimum stamp approval from Petronas saying no problemo.

if want park heavy load over pipeline, i dont think anyone will allow without emptying the pipe.

The question is, did the building project's heavy equipment go over the gas pipeline.?

If did so, will there be evidence.?

nah. any work inside gas pipeline reserve they require you to do Undergroud Detection Mapping first. then GAS will appoint someone to supervise the work as well to closely monitor one. im guessing this is done illegally cause no way this can happen under their strict protocol.

..if follow protocol...

= they were excavating and laying IWK sewerage pipes for the newly built shophouses = same building contractor involved, not different contractor.

Datuk Bandar when looking at end product, sure say no problem la. When applying for CCC, not suppose to have more construction ongoing anyways. Of course no incursion on ROW la.
But the effects of ground loading on the underground pipeline already occurred. (if we follow the line of thinking that loading did occur)

has it been weakened ? was the analysis of loading done before ? if done, was it followed ? or was the analysis faulty ?

(if that car video released, can see extent of loading at that particular time. Maybe have other monitoring videos along the pipeline is available)
