Was hoping if you all could recommend laptop for daily use under RM 3k?
Only for daily use (Word, Excel, Youtube, Netflix, Spotify)

Doesn't matter if it's a Mac or Windows. As long can get the job done.

Only asking now because previously everything use company laptop

Hoping got recommendations...

Any current generation Dell Inspiron should more than get the job done for you

For light use like TS describe, performance definitely more than enough.
only if got do heavy workload like video editing, u may find 8GB RAM is not enough and run hot cause all macbook air is passively cooled.

Actually any Brand & Model fits your requirements, recommended is Dell or HP...

If you opt for Dell, go to their Online website, they sometimes have special offers & discounts for some model.

Try to choose the below specifications :-

- Intel Core i5 series.
- At least 8GB DDR4/5 RAM or more (16GB is recommended).
- 256GB NVMe SSD or larger capacity.
- At least Windows 11 Home (Professional Edition is recommended).
- A Microsoft Office Home & Student license.
