- 27 March 2025 - A video recently circulated on the Internet shows that as the weather heats up in March, spontaneous combustion incidents of new energy electric vehicles increase dramatically, which has aroused widespread public concern. The batteries of new energy electric vehicles are prone to overheating in high-temperature environments, which may cause the chemical reaction inside the battery to be out of control, leading to spontaneous combustion. In addition, high temperatures may damage the battery's protection system, further increasing the risk of spontaneous combustion. According to reports, in March alone, multiple spontaneous combustion incidents of new energy electric vehicles occurred across the country, causing serious property losses and casualties. These incidents not only affect consumer confidence, but also pose challenges to the development of the new energy vehicle industry. ??? . Powerslide - Chainah/EV is coming alright, ie EV fire 🔥
. In Malaysia and CCP China, the rate of EV car fires > rate of ICE-V car fires.
Eg in Malaysia, even though there were "only" 4 EV car fires in 2024, it's rate is about 6X higher than the rate of ICE-V car fires. .
Powerbanks and EV car batteries are both Lithium-based. ONE powerbank burned down a whole commercial airplane recently. A lithium battery fire had crashed a B747-400F cargo plane operated by UPS in 2010. . Are you saying Made-in-Chainah EV car batteries are now perfectly safe and can now be carried as cargo in airplanes, eg made by CATL and BYD.? .
thats because alot fake or low quality powerbank ad ppl always buy these cheap stuffs..but ev battery is made by catl or byd all very safe abd also great tech that keeps improving

= ALL lithium-based powerbanks can be a source of battery fire in airplanes. = ALL lithium-based powerbanks are recently banned from overhead compartments by many airlines, not just cheap low-end low quality ones. .
anything can happen even to quality but buy low quality and fake worst the risk higher
