Hi all,

I just moved to this area (Nilai impian) and was driving around while buka time, so roads empty la. Then I noticed these two individuals on a motorbike.

They were going super slow and zigzagging on the lane, then they started taking photos of housing area, specifically the gated area (like the back part of house, not front gate lol), and once they noticed i driving behind them, they noticed and the rider macam told the passenger behind to stop taking photos lol.

Started glancing at me too like they kantoi and worry i following them, idk la, their behavior very suspicious. Just worry they macam scouting houses to samun during raya. 😢

I know police do ronda ronda during raya, but should i report this, if so, how? Online, call, or go balai? Because they were by my housing taman already, i worry for the community also.

Got dashcam and noted their plates too. Not gonna post here, just asking advice what to do. No neighbourhood watch here either.

1. report polis just tell them your story
2. put poster alerting the neighbors at the community notice board on suspicious rider surveying the area with another person with camera
3. beef up your own house's security like more locks or cctv

Make a report at the nearby police station, do provide the video from your dashcam to the police 👮🚨🔥

Alert neighbor community groupchat.

See if got any more others that have noticed these 2 suspicious fella.

If yes, gather the evidences or recordings, go to police together. Police more likely to take it seriously.

If they do not, then inform neighbors to keep an eye out and form a check group that do ronda in groups at night or something.

You can report via vsp. plate number and dashcam

They might use fake plate number, but just provide the dashcam video during police report 👮📹👍🔥

Most likely fake one, only the dumb one will skim on this lol

The thief would be stupid if they using legit one 😅

Have you informed your neighbours about this?

And also let your neighbours know that there is also another way that the thief will know if the house has no one/sudah balik kampung - they put fruit/garbage or something similar at the door or near the housing area and if it's rotten or not cleaned after a day or two, the thief will know that the target house has no one and ready to get in

Malaysia polis will not entertain you if there is nothing happened even you see something not right. Unless it already happened.

We see someone with obvious fake advertisement and went to report to police about it before anything happen.

Guess what? Polis asked so you got any loss? If no loss why come report? If kena scam only come report.

Go to balai & make a police report & tell your next door neighbours to help spread to the rest of the community.

WhatsApp the video to your neighbours so they can forward it to the rest.

Also like ktards said, make sure your house security is beef up & make sure living room & outside house lights.are.on.

Just do.your civic.duty by reporting to police.& informing.next.door.neighbours.
There is a limit to how.much you can do as a normal citizen.

Whether police will take action even with all evidence is beyond your power & you should not get too worry over it.

It's just a report that such such incident take place, just for the record. The police will decide what to do with the info. You do your part (reporting) and the police will do the rest (investigation).

Even if the police choose not to do anything. THey will have the record got suspicious guy with motor plate noxxxx doing such thing. So anytime got break in near that area they know who to suspect first.

So remember. Reporting does not mean u need to go attend court. Definitely does not mean u going to get someone to jail.

Plate number definitely fake, they will change time to time, they think much further ahead before do criminal job 🙂
