PRESS RELEASE

1. I wish to record my sincere heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to each and everyone involved in the ongoing discussion of relocating  the Dewi Sri Pathra Kaliamman Temple in Jalan Masjid India in Kuala Lumpur.  I pray that we will be able to resolve this issue amicably.

2. A big thank you to YB Gobind Sing Deo (the Digital Minister) , YB Dato Ramanan Ramakrishnan (the Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur  Development and Cooperative ), YB Kulasegaran ( the Deputy Law Minister) , YB Dato Seri Dr.Zaleha Bt Mustapha ( the Federal Territories Minister), YB P. Prabakaran and all others involved in trying to find an amicable win - win solution to this matter .

3. I also wish to thank the Mayor of Kuala Lumpur Dato Seri Maimunah Binti Mohd Sharif for her efforts and her visit to the Temple yesterday and the management of Jakel for their assurances and generosity in attempting to work out an amicable solution to this matter. 

5. While everyone involved is trying their level best to resolve this temple matter amicably for the sake of unity in our multiracial and multireligious country , Zamri Vinoth attempts to wade in and exploit this issue by posting provocative comments yet again on his Facebook page .

6. Zamri Vinoth's latest posting on his Facebook alleges that most temples are built illegally on land not belonging to the temple and also mocks the Tamil language by saying " illek porringe" . Why is Zamri Vinoth commenting on matters that  does not concern him ? What is his reason for posting such provocative comments now ?

9.Over 894 police reports have been lodged until now against Zamri Vinoth for his earlier Facebook posting where he mocked the Thaipusam kavadi bearers. 

10. Why is the Attorney General still silent?  Why hasn't Zamri Vinoth been charged in Court yet ? Is Zamri Vinoth above the law ?
