My bro in law, 31 years old got diagnosed with rare neuro-endocrine carcinoma, small cell recently.
He was fine during CNY and the next week after stage developed some bulging at his throat. Things been moving very fast since then.

The cancer has also spread to his spinal bone. It is at stage 4. Currently just completed 2nd cycle of chemo + immunotherapy.

It feels so devastating that this is happened to my family member.

First round did it with Dr John Low in Thomson Damansara cost around rm20k.

2nd cycle back to hometown at Gleneagle Medini around rm16k.

Yup. Super expensive but luckily he is insured.

private bro

We did ask public. The doctor said goverment don't have the funds to support this so those who get it will get it for a month. Then stop. Then others get it. Sometimes don't even have supply.

So if you cannot afford those meds...you essentially die

Of all illness i fear cancer the most. Its hard to detect can happen sporadic at any age can be without reason or risk. Its hard to kill it all. remission can become recurrent anytime . Just like an evil crab eating inside you draining your energy and soul . Cb cancer worst disease. Can be detect early but most lack awareness risk can be lower with lifestyle changes but see our obesity rate
