Hi all, do any sifu's know about Sailun tyres? I was looking around my local shops and one of them recommended me Sailun tyres (which I've never heard of before) for my Axia Style. He listed them very cheap, RM700 for 4 tyres + alignment + balancing (basically the whole shebang). Any reviews for this tyre?

Wet Grip 53%

FYI, Malaysia is a tropical country which got a lot of rain. If you think you wont be driving in the wet a lot of times maybe can consider. A lot of China budget brands tires weakness is during rain, braking and handling is very bad compare to even local made tires. mega_shok.gif

I was already considering the CR1's, just wanted more information on this tyre since I've never heard of it before. Want to expand knowledge ya know?

CR1 anytime also more better than China tires, 1st local made, 2nd design for local weather.

CR1 old model is from Toyo NanoEnergy 3
https://www.tyrereviews.com/Tyre/Toyo/NanoEnergy-3.htm

Old model also at least 67% more better wet grip feedback compare to Sailun.
Latest CR1 model even improve in term of wet performance compare to the old model

https://www.toyotires.com.my/news/all-new-p...l%20consumption.

High-Grade - In terms of overall performance, the Proxes CR1 produces 11 per cent less road noise and 2 per cent improved reduction in aquaplaning for better performance on wet roads as compared to its predecessor, the Nano Energy 3. The Proxes CR1 has lower rolling resistance for better fuel consumption.
