A true self-made man will never call himself self-made. Just to be born and raised requires help regardless you're poor or an orphan. Without the government, there won't even be this ecosystem and opportunities. Can it be better? Sure. Everything can but it can also get worse. The point is, nobody's truly self-made. At some point, you've gotten and needed help. It's not just your "hard work". Contrary to popular beliefs, most people work hard.
