I'm a long time sufferer of this stubborn disease. Been getting it many years but got worse since one year ago. Went to three Gastro Specialists that just gave me PPI. It worked for a while until it gave me worse side effects. I had to stop it. I've done Stretta 6 months ago, but it didnt work. I have Hiatal Hernia 2-3cm, and a laxed LES.

Now without taking PPI, i've tried changing lifestyle and diet, it worked to some extend but still have symptoms. Acid will flow into my chest when sleeping, acid reflux after food, hoarse voice....

Now i'm trying to get visceral massage therapy at YourPhysio, not sure if it will work.

I've been thinking about fundoplication as my last resort. Any successful stories that can share? Which surgeon is good in Malaysia? When i googled for surgeons, this Dr Tikfu Gee came up first, anyone has done it under him?

Seeing the side effects of this surgery made me really scare of doing it. I've even went to Singapore to consult for LINX but it's too expensive and my insurance not covering it.
