Just recently shifted to an old iPhone 11 with a Pantas 365 days plan.

But recently starting to get E connection intermittently. I switched the sim card with another sim card (Digi) from an iPhone 12. Both phone can get 5G without any issue.

But the second I switch back the Hotlink sim to iPhone 11, it only gets E connection.

Any advise on this issue? Is this a matter of old phone not supporting Maxis 5G network?

I found a few similar issue online but there is still no fix.

yea only 4G but the problem here is it is constantly E.

Will check the iOS version later.

iPhone 11 has no 5G support.
Update to the latest iOS. Also try resetting your network settings by going to Settings > General > Transfer & Reset > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
If problem persist, most likely got to do with the cellulor problem of iPhone 11 which many are experiencing. Repair will cost like 300 - 450 outside.
