Hi all, I'm wondering what is the best car(s) in terms of ride comfort (soft and plush ride and reasonable soundproofing) for under RM20K, while relatively cheap to maintain, reliable and fuel efficient? Don't care on the handling aspect, just pure comfort. (Asking for a friend)

get the cleanest and newest camry you can. more likely it's the acv30 since the acv40 will be a bit out of budget for good units.

but wont be fuel saving, unless you long-distance drive a lot.

its very uncle, no cool points, but the interior is quite plush, very quiet.

drives quite well as well.

If want to buy old Camry get the 1 highest spec. 2.4v since 2nd price also difference not much in market as that 1 come with better safety features like VSC or TRC at least. The 2.0G cheaper version really-really very kosong in safety spec. if not mistaken only ABS.

define "ride comfort"

if blindfolded, 99% of ppl wont be able tell difference, thus use a metric that is quantifiable like segment of car, how much roadtax willint to pay, # of seats, etc

If it is a "newer" than any recommendations of Camry, can look at colder brand like Peugeot, Citroen and another is VW. Since TS want reasonable soundproofing car, skip any Honda Malaysia model
