people actually follow these battery test thing? its almost impossible to quantify it properly given how different users have different use cases

i have a friend who claimed his phone can last 3 days with single charge. turns out then his use case for the phone is practically nothing, just internet browsing and some IM.

while another friend of mine kept complain his phone battery cacat la whatnot. but he run games every time even if idling and leave it at background

i dont doubt that longer battery life = better but the issue is so personalised, no?

like you could argue by GSMarena's metric that its bad. but to average smartphone user these metrics are useless cause it doesnt symbolise what they actually do

look at iphone SE which uses the stupid small ass capacity ip8 battery size, its outright outrageous by today's standards but the device is still widely used by people worldwide

you cant, its like me trying to get you to like sambal petai when you are a sambal sotong lover. not to say GSMarena didnt do their best to be as controlled in their tests to all variety of users, just the control is not 100% accurate nia

so for me these tests are a metric you can follow to see how long the device can theoretically last based on their presumed use case, but not 100% rely on it as a guide on how well the device would perform on a variety of people's use case
