Hi sifus, wanna ask for the internet subscription under the lifestyle category for tax reliefs. If the subscription for internet is for the entire year, are we allowed to take the total amount of that year or is it limited to only 1 month/a few months?

Up to total amount allocated for that year under that category, regardless of how many month's fee is that.
e.g. Tax relief category = RM500 Internet subscription = RM700/year Can only declare for relief up to RM500

For phone, it's internet only, not entire phone bill. So if your provider has free data for a monthly lump sum cannot include as relief

Internet subscription shall be entitled max 2.5k relief Yes Telco will provide annual statement. I also have the habit of keeping monthly bills anyway

'cause internet subscription under lifestyle expenses, max relief 2.5k Yeah just an allround example, cos some years gomen split the tax category some years they consolidate into 1. In this case lifestyle expenses used to be separate (computer purchase 1 item, sports equipment 1 item, journal/magazine subscription 1 item)
