Govt should give similar EV incentives for PHEV as a intermediary measure since public EV chargers r limited so that this PHEV can be bought for <120k.
Wonder if it got camping mode?

It’s a hybrid with sizeable battery.

On theory it can even support sentry mode like Teksar did to certain degree.

so are there any cameras given?

tesla give sentry mode means they give all the cameras and the cameras are actually extremely clear type(not toyota kind)

means no sentry mode
how good is the front dashcam in another issue, it better be a clear one considering the price
better not be like the toyota one else you're better off just put a cig lighter port or USB port there

Most warranty are gimics, read thru the black & white.
A lot of important mechanical part warranty only last around 3 years or 60k.

https://www.jaecoo.com.my/warranty

Timing Chain (Applicable to J7 PHEV ONLY) <- Timing chain warranty only 3 years or 60k.
If after 3 years timing chain broke, it will impact engine spoilt you think they will warrant it with the 10 years warranty?

Give you 10 years warranty battery, but if others spoilt you also lppl as this is PHEV/Hybrid means you got both need to take care.
The bottleneck is in the warranty T&C as when read thru a lot of parts not really included especially involved engine major components.
They should extend all the engine components warranty it to like maybe 5~7 years since most claim that hybrid engine will only operate half of what normal ICE engine, the parts should last longer and not shorter in logic.

See the warranty Toyota give compare to Jaecoo

The black & white is more detail and highlight all the details, some of the components Toyota also can warranty until 10 years (8+2) but did they really tell out loud as they know these only warrant certain part items only.

Exclusive 8 + 2-year assurance with no mileage restriction.

Hybrid battery
Inverter
Hybrid vehicle control computer

The first 3 years or 100,000 km (whichever comes first) is covered under the standard Manufacturer's Warranty.

The additional 7 years thereafter is covered by UMW Toyota Sdn. Bhd.

https://www.toyota.com.my/en/servicing-and-...e-warranty.html

The first 3 years or 100,000 km (whichever occurs first) is covered under the standard Manufacturer’s Warranty.

Additional 2-year extended warranty is covered by UMW Toyota Motor Sdn. Bhd.

Thay why Toyota aftersales not much complains as most items are actually covered by UMW itself.

I highlight all these as to new owners when buy new car even for different brands, owners need to know the warranty T&C given by each brand. If not later got problem time start to rant in fb/forums saying the manufactuere no use cannot honor warranty etc.
