so we already have 2 lesbian MCs for modern Gundam.. is this gonna be a thing moving forward? kalau berani come up with a ghey MC la bandai, you already have ghey side characters on Iron Orphan before..

Apa salah orang muda? Takkan nak alternative reality Amuro sudah tua macam old man Logan? Then betul2 become Gundam Atuk.

Bukan tak berani. Bandai tengok dari segi kewangan. Merchandise BL niche, kurang orang support. Macam mana nak jual plamo dan figure.

they could just went with 20s-30s something adult MC instead, and MC could be a proper soldier/test pilot, from character background that makes sense. but my main nitpick being Bandai so obsessed with naive middle-schoolers/high-schoolers age main character trope - eg; Gundam WotM, Seed, etc (IBO is forgiven coz child soldiers is a thing)
i mean, I could guess why - to attract young, newer audiences, so these young'uns can relate to the MC. but still.. it's an overused trope imho.

Do they have an unwritten rule that all Gundam stories must follow the same template?
Bad guys, good guys. Either one steal the other’s Gundam. Later fight fight with lame love story or politics.

That’s why I like the Gundam build series.
Skip all of that and go straight to Gundam fights Hahha.
