Yes I am using 12t pro with snapdragon soc. Yes built in ads for Xiaomi app like music, store etc etc still persist. Just use third party app then won't have this issue.

Bug wise yes, on and off some random bug especially during dual screen. Lately one occasion suddenly restart and stuck at the mi logo for very long time. Only able to access device normally after force restart twice. No update or anything lately.

My wife 13t with media dimensity is even worst where the camera app itself is lagging. Not sure is dimensity fault or not. Mine don't have this problem, just that I feel sometimes it's not able to focus and have to restart the app.

At the end she changed to iphone 17. The only advantage is the price. Camera performance no way close to flagship level, 13t got Leica brand but somehow I feel like my 12t pro took a better photo.

The hyperos wise feel nothing special for global rom. One thing can say for sure is update very slow, now end of November but still stuck with august security patch. According to the history, mi have very slow update, the only time they roll out update is when they launch a new phone.

To summarize not recommend to buy their t series but I don't have any recommendation for alternative brand with similar price range.
